How to: google adwords @t3n

T3N.de published a guide for SEM, with focus on Google Adwords. it seems as if every month or so, someone needs to shout out knowledge on Google optimisation. We could even work up a conspiracy theory ( what if google paid people to shout out tricks and tips  ….)

the guide is very basic, starts from scratch but gives good hints such as the advice to also have spelling mistakes within your keywords in addition to the correctly spelled keywords tha can be found in the external keyword tool by google.

with the traffic estimator you can then find out how much traffic is predicted with the keywords that you have created in step one. and therefore know how fast, or not, your  daily budget will be used up.

the author also cannot help but to point out that in your Adwords text it is important to point out, what USPs you have in comparison to your competition.

this is something that i often come across aswell. if you do not have the manpower or the time to think of something good to write in your text. just keep it simple and explain what USP you have. is it quicker, cheaper, longer guarantee?
